Join three invasive and three interventional cardiologists in a premier, active, growing practice that was established in 1976. The primary office is located in Casper, Wyoming. There is no managed care. 

The practice has a state-of- the-art nuclear medicine system (accredited) and echo/ultrasound system (accredited). 

The office is located only one block from the primary hospital. There are 10 outreach clinics that service two-thirds of the state since 1978. The primary hospital offers two state-of- the-art cath labs and an active open-heart surgery program with two board certified cardio-thoracic surgeons. A competitive salary and benefits plan is offered that includes a relocation package, retirement plan, and CME reimbursement. Partnership is offered after two years (Visa applicants after 3 years). 

The community of 66,000 is centralized in the state. There are excellent outdoor activities that include water/snow skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking, and mountain biking. The community arts include the symphony and theatre and easy access to large metropolitan communities, when desired. There are public and private schools from elementary through Masters´ programs offered. There is no state income tax. This community offers a wide variety of housing.

Certified Physician Assistant

Description: Responsible for providing cardiovascular care services, including assessing and managing patients following established standards and practices. Compassionate, high quality cardiovascular care will be met by assuring that the needs of the patients, physicians, and other health care providers are accomplished in a timely and courteous manner. You will join a team of a PA and an NP.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive medical history and complete physical exam in the office and at the one local hospital.
  2. Establishes a diagnosis, formulates a plan of care, evaluates the response to the plan, and revises the plan as needed, collaborating with or referring to physicians as needed.
  3. Collaborate with cardiologists in managing acute and long-term medical needs of the patient.
  4. Order appropriate diagnostic tests, treatments, medications, and referrals.
  5. Coordinate discharge and follow-up.
  6. Monitor and provide continuity of care between patient visits.
  7. Assists with diagnostic studies as required, including nuclear studies, echo-stress, and cardiac stress.
  8. Must be registered or certified physician assistant.

Patient Flow Coordinator (Medical Receptionist/Scheduler)

Casper, Wyoming

Description:

Coordinate the flow of patients of a cardiology practice. Schedule appointments and procedures; provide appointment information. Highly electronic office – electronic health record and electronic practice management software (Allscripts Professional). Collect co-pays/co-insurance, customer service skills in-person and via phone. Communicate with multiple practice and hospital departments.

Previous healthcare experience desired. Experienced customer service desired. Computer skills/knowledge required. Keyboarding of 50 wpm+. Medical terminology desired. Critical thinking skills. Detailed oriented. Fulltime position, M-F, early and late hours; some occasional Saturdays. Benefits package.

9 provider practice growing to 12+ providers. Scheduling for 12 locations. Patient Flow Coordinators’ Department:  7 co-workers. Staff of approximately 45 in the practice.

This is a referral practice specializing in cardiology.

Benefits: Full time position, 35 – 40 hour workweek.
