Health – Wyoming Medical Center. This would be the only EP program in central Wyoming, having a very large catchment area. A new EP lab is in construction and dedicated specialty equipment is already available. There are established EP pathways with patients treated out-of-state currently (able to

An Electronic Health Record (EHR) Specialist holds the responsibility of managing patient health information to ensure that the data is accurate, organized, and electronically secure.
REPORTS TO: Director of Financial Services
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Electronically file, locate, retrieve, and delivers medical records as assigned via electronic medical record system (Electronic Health Record).
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of medical records systems. Skill in English, grammar, spelling and alphabetizing. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and physicians. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to file and maintain patient records, reports and other correspondence. Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
EDUCATION:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Completion of medical terminology preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
2. Typing ability of 50 wpm.
3. Computer experience required.
4. HIPAA knowledge desired.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting in front of the computer screen for long periods of time, requiring prolonged sitting/standing. There may be frequent bending, stooping and stretching.
